Holocaust: tragedy of the Romani people that remains one of the least studied pages of the ІІ World
From the early August to the end of September, the world commemorates innocent people tortured and killed during the Second World War due to the Nazi ethnocide policy. On the 2nd of August, the world commemorated the 80th anniversary of the Romani Genocide. Commemorative events took place in the former death camp, Auschwitz-Birkenau, attended by the high dignitaries, international representatives, and Romani organisations. On the 29th of September, the world is going to commemorate the tragedy of Babyn Yar which, during the German occupation of Kyiv, became the location of mass ethnic-based gunfire executions of Jews and Romanis. The historical truth about the tragic stories of the Romani people has only recently been revealed in full.
To see, to feel, to remember: A new exhibition was unveiled in the Babyn Yar Museum
An exhibition entitled «Their Memory in My Eyes» is accessible to visitors of the Babyn Yar National Historical Memorial. Testimony of witnesses to the genocide back from the Second World War in conjunction with visual materials have been presented by ARСA Youth Agency for Roma Culture Advocacy.

Address on the occasion of the Roma Holocaust Remembrance Day
From the beginning of August to the end of September, we honor the memory of innocent men, women, and children who were tortured during World War II because of the Nazi policy of ethnocide. Look and Do Not Ever Forget: the 80th Anniversary of the Mass Murder of Roma in Auschwitz-Birkenau C
August 2 is a day of remembrance for all the more than 500,000 Sinti and Roma who were killed in Nazi-occupied Europe. On this date, a commemorative ceremony is held at the site of the executions of Roma in Auschwitz-Birkenau. The Dikh He Na Bister (Look and Don't Forget) commemoration project gathers hundreds of participants from all over Europe. Young people from different countries study, learn about unknown pages of history, visit memorial sites and honor the dead.
