Remembering Together: International Summer School on Roma History in Berlin
Берлін, червень 2025 року. З 10 по 15 червня Молодіжна агенція з адвокації ромської культури «АРКА» у співпраці з Товариством народів, що під загрозою провела в Берліні міжнародну літню школу з історії ромів «Пам’ятаючи разом». Проєкт було профінансовано Фондом EVZ та Федеральним міністерством закордонних справ Німеччини в рамках програми YOUNG PEOPLE remember international. Зібравши 12 учасників з різних країн Європи та України, програма надала унікальну можливість вивчати та осмислювати трагічну історію ромів і сінті у ХХ столітті, зокрема геноцид під час Другої світової війни.
Open Call for Participants: Summer School on Roma History "Remembering Together"
We are excited to announce an open call for young activists, youth leaders, historians, and researchers between the ages of 18 and 35 to apply for our Summer School on Roma History, titled "Remembering Together," taking place in Berlin from June 10-15, 2025!
Public event "Roma in Ukraine – Fighters for Democracy, Human Rights and Justice"
A public event “Roma in Ukraine - Fighters for Democracy, Human Rights and Justice” will be held in Berlin. Despite anti-Gypsyism in Ukraine, many Roma are actively fighting in the Ukrainian Armed Forces and contributing to the defense and reconstruction of Ukraine.
The Time to Remember project is an educational and memorial program for young people
Educational and memorial program for youth – “Time to Remember”. It promotes the adaptation of successful international commemorative approaches to Ukrainian realities and the creation of a lasting tradition of commemorating the memory of young people at the local and national levels. The project focuses on the Roma genocide to fight for equality and against racism, addressing the lack of memory and education about this event.
Second part of the educational project "At the Crossroads of History"
Participants from Ukraine and Germany exchange experience and gain new knowledge in the field of human rights.
Training “Roma Media School ‘Djanes’
The participants completed an internship on the information platform under the guidance of experienced journalists and gained knowledge in the field of media communications, journalism, and creative industries.
Training called “Roma Youth for Equal Rights”
During the training, they talked about human rights in general and national groups in particular, initiatives that help to defend the interests and integrate Roma into all social processes.
